The Building Industry Association of Southern California's (BIA/SC) 13th annual Building Industry Show (BIS) is now only three months away and show organizers are anticipating especially strong seminar attendance when it presents, for the first time, its Certified Graduate Remodelers Conference at BIS 2001.
The conference will offer remodelers a number of seminars to choose from – all of which cover the core areas of the remodeling business – marketing & sales, business administration, design, estimating and job cost, contracts, and liability, risk and project management. The training is a valuable tool for remodelers seeking greater professional credibility and sharper business skills.
The BIA/SC Los Angeles County East (LACE) Chapter and BIA/SC Remodelers Council are pleased to be leading this educational tract together at this years show. In fact, it was Remodelers Council President and LACE Chapter director Bill Simone of Custom Design & Construction (CD&C) who organized and prepared the conference proposal and is now serving as its “tract manager.”
The Los Angeles based CD&C, a member of the LACE Chapter, was recently included in Remodeling magazine's “Big 50” list of the top 50 remodelers in the nation based on customer service, quality workmanship and management excellence. It also recently earned dual distinctions as Western Remodeler of the Year and California Remodeler of the Year at the annual Chrysalis Awards during the National Remodelers Conference in Washington, D.C.
"The remodeler conference is going to thrive under Bill Simone's leadership as tract manager," said BIS Vice President J. Ross Willard of Talega Associates, LLC. “He is an accomplished remodeling craftsman, a successful business person whose company has been recognized for excellence and an industry leader who know how to best meet the educational needs of remodelers in Southern California.”
Building industry professionals in Southern California look to BIS as the source for information on new products and technological advancements for the industry as well as for cutting edge education seminars.
